Shipping Cost

Hello there,

I'm sure you've noticed that prices on just about everything have gone up this year. We held out as long as we could, but beginning November 1st, 2021, we'll be charging $4 per box for shipping. Inflation's deflating (ironically).

The good news is that you won't have to pay for shipping on any Bitsboxes you've already paid for. If you signed up for a six month subscription in September, shipping on your next five boxes is still free. Everyone will see shipping charges at their next renewal.

Other good news is that we've returned to producing almost all of our materials in the USA. Domestic manufacturing is more expensive, but there are shipping containers full of Apper Keeper binders stuck in transit all over the Pacific—ones we ordered in January. Lesson learned.

I hope that this cost increase won't impact your family too much. Thank you for your ongoing support of our efforts to teach and entertain your kids : )

FAQ

Why exactly are you doing this?

It's gotten more expensive to make and ship our products. Most of what we produce is printed on paper or cardboard, and the price of both has risen by up to 20% over the last year. Shipping costs have increased by up to 50% in the same time period. Moving our production from China to the US is about 25% more expensive, too.
