I'm an adult, can I use Bitsbox to learn code myself?

Thanks for reaching out! We don't produce content that's specifically for adults, but that doesn't mean you can't still use Bitsbox as a tool for learning. We run real JavaScript, so you can create some pretty complex apps. (For an example of a really long app, create a new app with the number 1219. It'll load in a side-scroller game that we wrote a few months back.)

We've heard from several adults who have used Bitsbox to get them started coding. The PDF-only subscription is only $20/month.

That being said, it's also totally possible that Bitsbox isn't the right fit for you. In that case, I'd recommend looking at Code Academy, or Kahn Academy. Both have good entry-level tutorials. If you prefer instructor-led classes, look at Coursera.com. They offer free, online courses from major universities. It's a time commitment, but my co-worker really enjoyed the courses he took through them.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if there are any other questions I can answer for you.
